Starting Sunday 18th June Aéro Mag 2000 cycling team will take off for the WOW cyclothon competition in Iceland. The team composed of Marie-Élaine Lépine, Gabriel Lépine, Michel Barrette, Patrick Blouin, Michèle Bastien, Véronique Bastien, Mathieu Ringuet, Gabriel-Aimé Girard Audet et Vincent Fortin Laurin will take turns from the 20th to 23rd of June to complete the 1358 km tour of Iceland. The team will also be raising money for the ICE-SAR (Icelandic Association for Search And Rescue) foundation.

Regarding the race
WOW Cyclothon is the largest and longest road race in Iceland. Held annually during the month of June, the cyclothon takes riders for a 1358 km tour around Iceland which has to be completed in a maximum of 72 hours. During this time-period, nothing will hold back the participants who will be riding relentlessly until they reach the finish line.
The race presents a unique sporting event that combines nature, unity, persistence and teamwork in a quite grandiose setting.
WOW Cyclotron has three main categories, A-category (4 person team relay), B-category (10 person team relay) and an individual category. To top it off, the race holds a higher goal, being a fundraising event supporting a different charity every year. That being said, it will be an experience that is going to be far from ordinary and we can’t wait!
